Gwendolyn M. Golson, MHA, CEO
Gwen was born in Brooklyn, New York, then moved to Southern California at the age of 15. Afterward, she moved from Rancho Cucamonga, California to Cumming, Georgia 10 years ago to be closer to extended family members here on the east coast.
Gwen is married and lives with her husband, daughter, mom and Maltese, Chase Mathew. Gwen’s older 2 sons (from a blended marriage) and daughter-in-law live in Virginia, and she is the proud grandma (GiGi) with her first grandson. Gwen’s interests are home decorating, traveling, dining, and watching good movies.
As a child Gwen always wanted to become a nurse; however, she changed her mind in high school and decided to pursue a care in Child Development. Gwen received a BS degree in Child Development from Loma Linda University, Riverside, CA, an Elementary Education certificate from California State University, Los Angeles, California, and then a graduate degree; Masters in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Other professional growth studies were done at the University of Southern California, and University of San Diego, California, et al.
Gwen’s professional life has been extensive as an educator and healthcare professional. Gwen has had a variety of teaching experiences as a regular education teacher, and special education teacher, for all ages of students, from preschool to adulthood. Her favorite was teaching young elementary students, being a Resource Specialist for Special Education, and teaching English as a Second Language to adults. Gwen, also had the opportunity to mentor teachers and thoroughly enjoyed being a Demonstration Teacher to college students and new teachers.
Although Gwen loved Child Development she continued to have an interest in the medical field. As a result, she received a Nurse’s Aide Certificate from Riverside Community College, Riverside, California, and later the MHA degree. As a healthcare consultant in Healthcare Administration, she developed an Internship University for PCG Molecular Laboratory, Dahlonega, Georgia, and was the Clinic Manager for Trinity Dialysis Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia. Gwen has now moved into the home healthcare side of the medical field as the CEO of Divine Home Nursing, LLC. Gwen brings over 25 years of educational and healthcare experience.
Gabriella Konyves Allen, DON
Gabriella was born in Parma, Ohio and was the first person in her family to be born in the United States. Her family is of Hungarian decent. At the age of 5, she moved to Georgia with her Mother and Maternal Grandparents. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2007, both from Kennesaw State University.
Gabriella began her career as a Registered Nurse in Oncology, and quickly realized she had a passion for Quality Improvement. After proudly completing her master’s degree, she moved forward to develop leadership skills and has an extensive background in Nursing Administration, quality improvement, auditing, and Electronic Medical Records.
As an only child, Gabriella is an avid reader, enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, and shopping. She is a self-professed coffee snob, and loves trying new and exotic combinations and flavors.
Gabriella is married to a Union Electrician and is blessed with a four-year-old daughter. She resides in East Cobb with her family and nine chihuahuas.
Gabriella continues to explore various aspects and fields of Nursing, and thoroughly enjoys the variety the discipline has to offer. Through her years of emersion in quality improvement, working with Physicians, multidisciplinary teams, administration, and management, she has been given the best opportunities to grow and utilize the tools given to her to provide the best patient care as the Director of Nursing at Divine Home Nursing, LLC.
